TRIPLE BLEND MEDIA (CPZ): This new adsorptive mixed media incorporates the carbon, alumina and zeolite all in one filter. Alumina (potassium permanganate) is a catalyst. Zeolite is a mineral that has a great adsorption capacity for ammonia, and is a great deodorizer. The triple blend filter is the best solution for applications where formaldehyde, ammonia and other gases are present. Often used in new homes for first 6 months to a year. |
